New Reggae Single Emphasizes Importance Of Self-Love

ABOUT THE SONG
I am an independent artist - An American drummer, singer, songwriter and rapper. I am the founder of Nashville's Reggae/Rock/Hip-Hop group, Henosis Music. We will be releasing our new single "You Owe It To Yourself" on Friday, November 3rd.
You Owe It To Yourself is a feel-good, rootsy-reggae tune about putting yourself first and enjoying your life. With a catchy melody, unforgettable chorus, powerful harmonies, and uplifting lyrics, this song was written when I first moved to Tennessee in March 2020. Covid was causing a surge of depression on many, including myself.
A melody came into my head as I was taking a shower one day, and I almost tripped and fell out of the shower trying to get to my phone so that I could sing the melody I had into my voice recorder before I forgot it. About three hours after my shower, I had most of the lyrics written, and Just Breathe was born. I spent the next few months singing it to myself as things progressively got worse, and to my surprise, it actually helped me keep a positive attitude through it all. It was as if I had created my own medicine. I wrote this song for that very purpose and I highly anticipate, and hope, that You Owe It To Yourself will do the same for everyone who listens. Anybody can easily relate to this one, and I truly hope it serves it's purpose of bringing peace into people's lives, even if only for a few minutes.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Henosis Music has been previously featured on several non-local radio stations, including KYZX Mendocino, CA Radio 88.1 FM, as well as Radio Boise 89.9 FM. Henosis Music has also been featured in Reggae Vibes Magazine, including their Spotify playlist. Rootfire, and Cali Reggae Spotify - a couple more popular reggae playlists, have also featured Henosis Music. Currently on all streaming platforms, Henosis Music continues to release songs with good vibes. Love is the message, music is the delivery - as I always say.
In early 2022, Henosis Music played the biggest Tennessee reggae festival, Reggae At Stonewood - sharing the stage with popular reggae acts such as Audic Empire, Kyle Smith, and Peter Dante (actor from Adam Sandler/Happy Madison movies). On January 12th, 2022, Henosis Music will be traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska, opening for Indubious - a reggae band currently gaining momentum. For more of my bio, please click HERE. A bright future is in store for this one of a kind group, led by a drummer/singer, and with a mission of spreading love through the songs. Henosis Music is currently in the studio, with much more content to be released in the near future. The name comes from the greek word Henosis, which translates as Unity, but the name sounds like "he knows his music," so it stuck.
